Cattle System #1 & #2 in comparison
Morand has been able to manufacture, field test, and improve on their cattle systems over the years. With lead up pens allowing you to gather cattle quickly and safely, into the 20’tub, you are able to guide them into the alley ways. An optional feature is the sorting gate coming off the tub, allowing you to sort your cattle to the alley way or onto a loading chute. The alleys have back ups hanging down from the 2 3/8″ frame, that can be adjusted to prevent cattle from backing out of the alley. The splitters help break up the straight alleys putting a slight turn in the alley way. Morand uses a unique roller system for their head gate, “Often copied but never matched” for a self catching head gate. You are able to preset the neck gates to the width of the animals neck, allowing you to catch the animal every time. When the animal moves back, that’s when you pull down on the shoulder holder handle. The palpation cage gives the veternarian room to preg check or semen check while blocking the alley way from cattle moving forwards.
